Script #44904; Episode #6.3; Airdate:
10/9/1976

Writer: Timothy Burns
Director: George Fenady
Guest Cast: Paul Brinegar, Bennye Gatteys, Jim Stathis
Story: The station rescues an homeless man from a fire, only to discover
the man's mattress had $80,000 in it. The grateful victim tries to give the station
a $20,000 reward. A bride faints as she is walking down the aisle. A light plane crashes
into a warehouse.
Goofs: Why was the entire station sent out for
the woman with trouble breathing? That sounds like a squad-only call (obviously a plot
device so the station would be empty allowing the geezer to leave the money in the
fridge…).
