Story: Johnny falls for a lady deputy when the squad is called to treat a mugger. Items are stolen from Rampart's Emergency Department. Roy and Johnny rescue an elderly man with apparent senility from a fire. A grandfather and grandson sustain minor injuries in a model rocket explosion. A man is injured and trapped on a drilling platform crane when he tries to steal a boat. Boot returns to the station.

Goofs:  (1) After they rescue the stupid guy who tried to steal the boat with a crane…    They are lowering the victim down and Capt. Stanley says something like "Let's get him into the stokes and out of here…" THEN Chet, Stanley and the ambulance attendants proceed to put him ON the ambulance stretcher NOT in the stokes. (2) The captain hands the squad the address and steps back instead of crossing to the engine even though the engine goes out on this call as well. (3) When Dixie is walking towards the elevator on that code blue she almost trips over that nurse guys. Close call. (4) When Johnny is cleaning the old man's face nothing comes off, this is a good sign that we are dealing with paint here.
